PS3 adds Flash support for browser, 360 stuck in stupid ages

Filed under: Technology — coretron @ 9:09 pm

Come on Microsoft, where’s my browser with flash capabilities on my 360? Hopefully it’ll be included in the November 19th 360 dashboard update. The xbox controller with the attached keyboard would be awesome for web browsing. Give us a full broswer with flash and keyboard support. Native hulu, youtube and access to the vast realm of flash games would be awesome. Maybe they don’t want to give access to this because they know it will take away business from their arcade store as well as their tv and movie store. PS3 users can also openly install linux on their consoles. Just as we are seeing the closed controlled world of the cellphone industry being opened, we need to see Microsoft open the console to at least match the PS3.
