Filed under: Google — pistolsnipe @ 5:26 pm

so ive been looking for some cheap super nintendo controllers for a project, so i searched all craigslist using google search term “craigslist.org snes controller”, the interesting thing is that the first listing i found http://chicago.craigslist.org/sox/tag/867260150.html  in fact did not have snes on the entire page, i even searched the page source.  it had “super nintendo” but neither of those terms were in my original search. try it out for yourself google knows snes = super nintendo

  1. From Google Help “Google now uses stemming technology. Thus, when appropriate, it will search not only for your search terms, but also for words that are similar to some or all of those terms. If you search for pet lemur dietary needs, Google will also search for pet lemur diet needs, and other related variations of your terms.”
